Last Saturday, October the 22nd, I attended my very first blogger event hosted by The Bloggers Hub and Bloggers Who Brunch. Despite all the drama over on Twitter surrounding The Bloggers Hub, I have decided to still publish this post just so we can all appreciate the wonderful people that I met that day and how amazing and supportive the blogging community is.
As a blogging newbie I was very nervous to attend such an event but I still went ahead and purchased a ticket. I got to talk to some lovely girls on Twitter beforehand and I think that helped with my fear of meeting new people. Do I think I made the right decision by going? Heck yes!!
The day itself was incredible! The meet up was held in a beautiful apartment in Soho, just a short walk from Oxford Circus and we got to drink pink prosecco and eat some delicious cupcakes (after everyone took a snap of them of course) whilst networking and having fun. Some girls even had the chance to get their nails done thanks to WAH Nails.
All the bloggers that I was lucky enough to meet were amazing to say the least! Everyone is so nice, down to earth and easy-going and I found it so heartwarming to connect with people that share the same passion as me. Either you like, food, beauty or fashion, blogging brings us all together and until now, I had no idea how powerful this community is! Honestly, the blogosphere is like a magical place where everyone just sprinkles fairy dust!
Words can't describe how great my experience was and I am so looking forward to other events so I can hang out again with people that I can now call friends!
