Beauty tools are essential if you want your makeup to look perfect. They make products easier to apply and it's more hygienic to use them instead of your hands (don't forget to clean your brushes though!). There are certain makeup tools specifically designed to perform very specific tasks that one simply can't live without. In today's post I'm going to share with you five of my favourite beauty tools that truly make all the difference in my makeup application.
MAC 224 Tapered Blending Brush
This is my favourite brush for blending eyeshadows, especially in the crease. It is amazing for softening any eyeshadow look, blending it to perfection and getting rid of any harsh lines. I know Mac brushes are quite expensive but this one is a true gem and it's worth every penny. Did I mention it works great for buffing out concealer as well?
Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
They don't say this is the brand's number one best-selling brush for no reason. The expert face brush is ideal for applying cream and liquid foundation but personally, I've used it for more than that. This is that one tool that can literally do anything: foundation, powders, bronzer, you name it. I highly recommend this product. It might become your go-to brush very quickly.
Sigma F05 Small Contour
If you are a crazy contour person, then you need this brush in your life! Sigma is not the most affordable brand on earth but in terms of quality and performance this tool would be a good investment. The brush is made of natural hair, with really fine and soft bristles. It does such an amazing job at blending contour products under the cheekbones, jaw-line or temples without leaving any harsh lines.
Spectrum Brushes Flawless Finish
This tool is designed for precision application of powder and cream formulas. When I first got it, I used it for setting my under eye concealer with powder. Recently, I discovered how great it works at applying highlighter. I run the tapered tip along my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose to get the perfect finishing touches to my face.
Beautyblender
You thought I would forget about the beauty blender? Actually, I should have started the post with it. This is probably the number one must-have beauty tool and it doesn't even need an introduction. This little egg-shaped makeup sponge is multifunctional but my favourite thing to apply with it is liquid foundation. If you want a flawless finish then the beauty blender has you covered. I tried other makeup sponges but none of them do a better job than this one. Call me a sponge snob!
What are your favourite beauty tools? Do you invest in good makeup brushes?

You should get the MAC 224, it's so worth it! xo
DeleteAh the spectrum brush is beautiful, I have wanted the set for ages! Absolutely love my beauty blender, it's definitely the best sponge out there. I think the RT dupe is just as good for blending makeup but I ended up going through 3 in under a year as I found the sponge breaks apart when I washed it which was so annoying!!!
